Redcliffs @ Van Asch

We have had a great start at Van Asch. We are all super excited about our classroom just for Room 13 and 14 (aka Room 27). We are settling in nicely and enjoying the super facilities that Van Asch offers us.

On Tuesday we had a great day exploring our new surroundings and were blown away by the massive field.

On Wednesday we were lucky enough to have author Maria Gill speak to us and share some of her wonderful books. To top things off the whole school had a sausage sizzle. A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA!

On Friday we went to Team 3 Shop Day. We had a great time spending money and eating some delicious treats. Hopefully not too many children went home with a tummy ache!

So all in all it was an action packed week and we are looking forward to next week.

Children, remember to practise your poems for our poetry recital coming up and you might even be able to share some of your folk dancing moves with your family. Have a great weekend.

On Friday we made some bread because we are learning all about measurement. We ate the bread after and it was delicious! I had a photo to go with this but it didn't want to work.

I also had a photo of everyone in their flash new beanies. I will try to pop these up another time. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
